Tomato Tart Recipe

Please enjoy this simple Tomato Tart recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of Pilsbury pie crust

  • 1 tomato

  • Basil pesto

  • Fresh basil leaves

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Place one of the pie crusts on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.

  3. Spread 1-2 tbsps of basil pesto on the pie crust leaving the edges exposed.

  4. Slice the tomato thinly and place on top of the basil.

  5. Put in oven until the crust is browned-15-20 minutes.

  6. Remove from oven and tear fresh basil leaves on top.
