White Bean Hummus

Ingredients:

  • 1 can white kidney beans, drained and rinsed

  • 1 garlic clove finely chopped

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • salt to taste, a few grinds of black pepper

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp aleppo pepper

  • 2 tbsp chopped cilantro*

*you could swap out the cilantro for fresh dill if cilantro is not your thing.

Instructions:

Put everything into a blender and blend until smooth-you can decide if you want it to be chunkier. 

Adjust flavourings.

Let sit for a few hours for the flavours to blend. 

Serve with veggies, pita toasts.

 

This makes a great sandwich spread too! I especially love it with tuna.
