An Interview with Linda Ridgeway of Bubble Taps

Did you know that many career changes are made when you reach your 50’s?

I must admit that when I reached that number, I wondered if I should make a different career move, but then realized how much I loved design and just wanted to continue on that path. And it continues to be a wonderful ride!

I do firmly believe that staying active, engaged and relevant is important as we all move forward in our lives. For some, it is spending more time in the garden or doing more volunteer work. For others, it is simply having time to play golf, entertain or spend time with family.

I do find it exciting when people make a pivot to something really different!

My friend, Linda Ridgeway, is a wonderful example of that. She took her industry knowledge and spun it into a delightful enterprise that creates joy and fun.

Deciding to dive into this new venture was more about turning something she already knew she loved, into something she now owns and can grow and develop at her own pace. Introducing Bubble Taps, a unique beverage bar experience.

Having these candy coloured vehicles positioned to serve in so many different event scenarios (weddings, home party events, wine events, the list is endless…), well, who wouldn’t want one of these cuties in your back garden all season long?

I know Bubble Taps is already on its way to being a huge success and I wish Linda, and anyone else delving into some new adventures, my very best wishes.

I have a screenshot of a quote saved on my phone that says:

”You know all those things you want to do? You should go do them.”

I couldn’t agree more.
