Canadian Home Decor Brands We Use and Love
I have been a designer for over 20 years and have established relationships with many suppliers over those years. These relationships with suppliers are so important because they become the building blocks of a successful firm. We look for good quality, good customer relations and flexibility if needed.
I wanted to share with you 5 of my favourite Canadian business partners. Tried and true north!
Durham Furniture
I purchased Durham Furniture (above) for my bedroom in my Oakville home and loved the quality and style. Crafted in Durham, Ontario, this company has been going strong for over 125 years! Built from sustainably harvested maple and cherry with no veneers, you get a product that is not only beautifully crafted but steeped in history and fine craftsmanship.

Mobilia
Mobilia (above) was doing modern design before this timeless trend really gained momentum in the past years. While it has a global presence as well, they have a modern flair that feels fresh and inspired.
Their showrooms are inspiring and it is hard not to find a piece for any home regardless of their design ethos.

EQ3
EQ3 (above) hails from Winnipeg and is now known throughout North America. They truly embody Canadian design-clean, inclusive and built for real life living. There is a thoughtfulness to their designs from their modular sofas to chic dining room sets. Timeless with a modern sensibility. I always enjoy a walk through their showrooms for inspiration!

Cyrc
Montreal's very own turns waste into wonder. I featured Cyrc on Cityline because I was so amazed at their 3D printing technique that transformed recycled plastic into stylish home decor items. And even more unique was that you can take back your pieces to recycle again! Sleek, unique and sustainable simplicity! I own two vases and love them.

Hanstone
Kitchen renovations are our thing and we often circle back to the beautiful collection of quartz products from this London, Ontario company. They have been crafting high performance surfaces since 2009. Quartz is the chosen product because of its strong durability and resistance to heat, scratches, stains and bacteria. Clean, Canadian and built to last. Meet your next countertop crush (below).
